United Kingdom / Italy | Two major recycling equipment manufacturers have joined forces to promote their equipment. Ecotecnica SRL has become the official agent for the sale of JMC Recycling Systems’ range of shears and balers into the Italian market, while UK-based JMC will continue to market Ecotecnica’s car balers and shear balers in its own country. The companies will also pool their resources in a bid to develop new and innovative machinery.
JMC’s Managing Director Phillip Pownall comments: ‘This is a very positive step forward for both companies. 2009 saw our grip on the Italian market waver but with the enthusiasm Ecotecnica has shown, and the success they’ve already had in such a short space of time, we are sure that 2010 will show a complete turnaround. We look forward to combining our expertise to bring new, cutting-edge machinery into the market.’
The two companies have been working together on the Manta 54 automatic, mobile metal baler which was due for launch by the end of March.
