Electronics congress call for papers

The third International Electronics Recycling Congress (IERC) will be held from January 12 to 14 next year in Basel, Switzerland. According to the preliminary programme, coverage will include: implementation of the WEEE Directive in Europe; updates on other relevant European directives; reports of manufacturers’ take-back and recycling activities; major industry challenges and breakthroughs; country reports from the U.S., Asian and European markets; reports from new EU countries; electronics waste collection programmes; an international overview of recycling activities; waste stream data; best available technologies; plus recycling and recovery plants and processes.

The congress will include a networking dinner, a ‘Meet your consumers and clients’ night, and a visit to an electronics recycling plant.

IERC 2005 organiser ICM has issued a call for papers and is inviting interested authors to submit their proposals before the end of July this year.
