* Harris Waste Management

Garden Street Iron & Metal has installed a Harris BSH-22-883-B-3 shear at its yard in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The shear features Harris’ next generation ‘B’ Series hydraulic unit, as well as a state-of-the-art control and production management system. Harris BSH Shears feature the patented ‘Tuck-and-Fold’ compression box which densifies material prior to shearing and thus reduces pre-processing time with fewer cutting torch operations. This enables faster feeding rates and higher production levels, it is claimed.

In related US news, Harris confirms that Morris Scrap Metal has installed a new Harris GS 7 Baler/Logger/Shear at its King’s Mountain processing facility in North Carolina.
