At its latest annual meeting, the German metal traders organisation VDM has elected Rita Dapont of Metallverwertung München as its new Chairman. She succeeds Hans P. Münster who had been VDM’s Managing Director and Chairman since 2003.

Other members of the VDM board to be elected include: Michael Bruch of Carl Bruch Metallgroßhandlung, Dortmund; Gabriela Grillo of Wilhelm Grillo Handelsgesellschaft, Duisburg; Peter Haslacher of Metallhandelsgesellschaft Schoof & Haslacher, Munich; Hans-Gerhard Hoffmann of Norddeutsche Affinerie Recycling, Lünen; Peter Kasimir of Curef Metall- und Kunstoffhandel, Ennepetal; Hans Müller of Scholz Recycling, Erfurt; Helmut Nagl of Salzburger Metall- & Kabelverwertungs-Ges., Bürmoos; Thomas Reuther of Trimet Aluminium, Gelsenkirchen; and Jost-Hinrich Stachow of Jost Hinrich Stachow, Goslar.
