Steinert expands metal recycling network to Japan
by Editorial staff. May 06, 2008
Germany / Japan | The Steinert Group from Germany has signed contracts with its current Japanese sales partners regarding the establishment of Steinert Japan, a new joint venture in which magnetics manufacturer Steinert GmbH has a majority holding. This first full sales meeting of the Steinert Global Group in the United States also provided an opportunity to swap ideas on national markets and take important strategic decisions for the future, particularly with regard to internal communications and worldwide marketing.

Each of the world’s regions has its distinctive features and markets. A chance to discuss these differences can therefore generate the kind of knowledge that will lead to enhanced customer benefits, the company says.

According to Steinert, in the future, there will be more opportunities for the raw materials recovery industry in such markets as minerals processing, electronic scrap, metal recycling, refuse and even the food industry.
